It's super easy and fun! If you don't want to make selections- no worries, be sure to let me know and I will make the selection for you.

A: Absolutely! Each package I offer includes digital images- but if you would like to purchase images an addition to your package, they are $25 each OR you can purchase a bundled set of 10 images for $150.
Q: Where is your studio located?
A: Geneseo, Ny. The studio has everything we need for our session: backdrops, knits to a brand-new lifestyle room featuring a couch/bed for beautiful natural images. Clients also love the gorgeous property I have to offer outdoors. I have an adorable campfire area with stacked wood and Eddison lights as well as seasonal gardens/trees.
Q: Do you travel for Sessions?
A: There are many sessions that I host outdoors and travel to places for. I travel anywhere up to 25 miles from 14454. I can travel further for an additional fee.
Maternity Session:
Q: How far along should I be for images? How far in advance should I book?
A: I typically host maternity sessions around the 30-34 gestational mark, but this will all depend on how much you are showing and how you are feeling. I do have a busy schedule so I would suggest booking with me as soon as you know you are interested in maternity images- the sooner the better. Maternity sessions can be hosted in my studio located in Geneseo, NY or at any outdoor location located within 25 miles of 14454. I can travel further then this if needed for a traveling fee.
Q: What should I wear for my maternity images?
A: I always like to say whatever you feel comfortable in- but I like to recommend tighter fitting and/or maternity clothes that really show off your beautiful growing baby bump. I suggest at least two outfit. I also have two one size gowns that you are welcome to use for your session if you would like. Color scheme is very important in images- I have different recommendations for each season- you can view some inspiration on my Pinterest board here: Pinterest
Q: I have no clue how to stand or pose myself, can you help with this?
A: Don't sweat it- I'm a mom of 3 and I know how hard it can be when your body changes for the amazing baby you are growing. I will be there to help you feel comfortable, remind you of how beautiful you are and be sure to get all of your best angles. While we work together, I can show you some images on the camera and we will make sure you are loving the way you look.
Newborn Session:
Q: When should I book my appointment for newborn images?
A: It is never too soon to set up an appointment for your newborn images. I like to recommend booking with me well before your baby arrives. To ensure enough room on the schedule for newborns I only take on a set number of babies per calendar month. You can secure an appointment based on your estimated due date with a retainer- and we will then schedule your newborn session once your baby has arrived. If you have your baby before or after your due date, there will still be plenty of room for you. If you're just discovering my art and already had your baby- still reach out, I may still have an opening to get you in.
Q: What do I have to bring?
A: The Diaper Bag and food for your baby and your payment- pretty simple! I will have everything else that we need- from handmade knit hats, headbands, baskets, furs, fabrics and so much more.
Q: What happens if my baby is fussy?
A: I know this is every parent's worst fear- and I won't sugar coat it's not too uncommon for a baby to become fussy- it is their only way to communicate. The good news is that I have spent over 15 years perfect my profession and part of my job is soothing babies and keeping them happy. I will listen to their ques to try and make them as comfortable as possible. Every baby is a little different and I will figure out just what your baby likes to keep them happy. Luckily in all the years I have been working with babies we can usually work between a baby fussing and still get amazing images.
Q: Can I get family images and sibling images during my baby's newborn session?
A: I have two packages to choose from- The Sweetpea package will include family and sibling images. The first look package is based on the baby alone and does not include family/sibling.
Child Session:
Q: What is the best/suggested ages to photograph a baby/child?
A: Newborn, three months, six months, nine months and one year and yearly milestones after that are fun too! The milestones are all so different and it's amazing how much a child grows between these ages. I love newborn images because it gives a lot of room for my artistic eye as an artist stylizing set ups and wrapping your beautiful baby up- but 6 months is so much fun because kiddos are just starting to smile and really show off their personality and now the session is 100% them. As a mother of three I captured all of these ages having a camera handy, but I can tell you the ones I have always loved most: Newborn, 6/7 months and 1 year. I think those three ages really highlight the changes of a baby over the first year as well as show their growing personality.
Q: What does your studio offer for Child Sessions?
A: My studio is equipped with well over 50 backdrops to add a wide range of color/elements to your images. The studio has available outfits/hats/headbands and more. I also have adorable little baskets, chairs and such much more for your child to stand with and or sit on.
Q: I have more than one child- can I get a sibling image and family image during our session?
A: Family is so important, and I would love to capture a family image as well as a sibling image for you during your child's full session. *Please note that a family and sibling image is only available with the full child session.
Q: What should I bring to our session?
A: I always suggest 2-3 outfits for your child (But I do have some in the studio we can use as well if you wish), A clean snack for your little one like cheerios or puffs, drink, small toy that we can use for attention (I have some in studio too need be), diaper bag and payment for the session. I will have everything else that we need.
